Submission
Send in your completed claim form and supporting documents.
Assessment
An approved assessor inspects the damage and prepares a report.
Authorization
The insurer reviews the report and authorizes repair or settlement.
Repair
Approved work begins at an accredited garage or provider.
Reassessment
A follow-up inspection confirms the repair meets standard.
Sign-Off
You review and confirm the repair is satisfactory.
Release
Your vehicle or settlement is released back to you.

Excess
Accidental damage excess is generally 2.5% for private vehicles and 5% for commercial/PSV vehicles, subject to the insurer's minimum excess.
Theft
Excess may vary depending on whether the vehicle has a tracking or anti-theft device.
Excess Protector
An optional benefit that can waive or reduce the applicable accidental damage excess, subject to policy terms. Normally used once per claim and may require reactivation after use.
Windscreen & Music System
Covered up to the limits provided by the insurer. Additional cover may be purchased where the value exceeds the free limit.
PVT
Protects against insured losses arising from political violence and terrorism when the extension is included.
Pre-existing Damage & Wear
Existing damage, normal wear and tear, and depreciation are generally not covered.
